Westmeath sees increases in Live Register

Deputy James Bannon has said that far from stabilising, the latest Live Register figures show a sharp rise both in terms of the annual and monthly statistics.

“It is a huge blow for Westmeath to see an increase of 22.8 per cent and 28.5 per cent respectively over the past 12 months.”

“Westmeath saw an increase of 334 from 9996 to 10,330 (3.3 per cent ).
