A return to the stage awaits for Rosemount Amateur Drama Group as rehearsals continue apace for their performance of 'Nobody's Talking To Me', a two act comedy production to take place in Tuar Ard Moate from March 13-16 inclusive.

Penned by Tommy Marren, the play, set in 1960s Ireland, is directed by Moate native Jackie Madden.

Synopsis

The play tells of the 40th wedding anniversary of Mattie and Maggie Conway who have not spoken a single word to each other in 10 years. Disaster strikes when the local parish priest, Fr O’Toole, decides to surprise them by renewing their marriage vows and the family scramble to come up with a plan. Plenty of drama ensues as they fall in and out with each other.

Cast

This two act comedy, certain to garner much laughter, features a cast of eight, all of whom are Rosemount natives, namely Helena Keena, Eamonn Duffy, John Keenan, Triona Geoghegan, Rachel Duffy, Cian O'Brien, Aisling Boland and Ciaran Clarke.
