Fernhill Garden Centre exhibition hosted by local artists to conclude this month

An art exhibition hosted by six artists who live and work in the Midlands region will conclude at the end of January in the Gallery Room at Savoury Fare Restaurant, Fernhill Garden Centre, Athlone.

The artists involved are Rosemarie Langtry, Ursula Ledwith, Dee McKiernan, Nessa McMahon, Magdalena Weber and Jessica Wehder. The group has curated an exciting exhibition featuring a variety of subjects and media, ensuring there is something there to delight everyone.

Asked about the inspiration behind this exhibition, the artists explained that, whilst there are some common themes in the work, each artist has drawn inspiration from several aspects of both the real and imagined worlds. The result is an exciting and joyful collection of art.

All of the art on display will be for sale, providing an opportunity for visitors to purchase a beautiful piece of art for their own home or as a unique gift for somebody else. Rosemarie, Ursula, Dee, Nessa, Magdalena and Jessica wish to express their thanks to the management and staff of Savoury Fare and Fernhill Garden Centre for helping to bring this exhibition to the public and for their ongoing support for the arts.

This is a free event and all are welcome.
