Rosemount native claims prestigious Westmeath Bachelor 2023 accolade

Home to the current Rose of Tralee, the tightknit community of Rosemount had cause for further celebration on Saturday night as native, Ciaran Clarke, claimed the Westmeath Bachelor 2023 accolade on Saturday night.

A moment to cherish for the 29 year old law student, Ciaran was the standout participant in the renowned competition, celebrity judges, Louis Walsh, Ann Doyle, Pippa O’Connor and Brian Ormond referencing his numerous qualities prior to the Rosemount native being confirmed Westmeath Bachelor 2023.

Despite the intense competition, Ciaran was crowned winner after impressing the judges and wowing the audience with his self-penned song which he performed on guitar and harmonica.

The judges were unanimous in their choice of the winner who won them over with his charismatic personality and captivating performance and he was an equally popular choice with the audience, who could not get enough of him!

A post by the Westmeath Bachelor committee on their social media channel noted that Ciaran would be be “an amazing ambassador for the county and festival and we are so excited to see all that he is going to achieve in the year ahead.”
