The culmination of the 2023 Athletics Ireland Race Series was a sporting occasion to remember for Athlone Athletics Club member, Eileen Kenny, who was the first Over 70 female runner to cross the finish line in the National 10 Mile Championships.
A regular podium finisher, Eileen’s achievements are to be perennially lauded, this, her latest accolade, achieved in Phoenix Park, Dublin, on Sunday afternoon.
