Early bird discount now available online for Athlone Little Theatre’s forthcoming April production

Swiftly following on from the sold out staging of ‘Philadelphia, Here I Come!’ which recently concluded its rapturously received run, Athlone Little Theatre has confirmed that the classic ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’ by Edward Albee will grace the intimate venue from April 20 to April 27.

Directed by Ollie Hegarty, ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’ is a twisted, poisonously funny living room comedy where alcohol consumption and games-playing are central to the plot. Its sharp-tongued script, wicked sense of humour and four outstanding individual performances makes it a must-see night of entertainment. The local cast features Emer Dunne, Richard Brennan, Katharine Wheatley and John Quinlan. Although the line between truth and illusion becomes very thin at times, the play is ultimately uplifting and cathartic.

To celebrate more great local drama, Athlone Little Theatre has an early bird discount offer where tickets for the play will be priced at €12 on www.athlonelittletheatre.ie for just over two weeks when you use the promo code EarlyBird, this offer closing on March 31.
