RE/MAX partnership ensures Roscommon estate agents go global

RE/MAX, the world’s number one real estate brand, has taken over the long established estate agency of Property Partners John Earley.

The agency, located at The Square in Roscommon town, teams up with the Global group and will now be known as RE/MAX Team Earley.

Established in 1979, Earley’s business and trusted reputation is renowned in the Midlands region and west. John Earley has over 40 years’ experience in the property market and while this new move will hugely strengthen the Roscommon agency it will also allow John and his wife Helen to step back from the day to day hustle and bustle of agency life whilst remaining consultants to the business.

“Combining the existing local knowledge and experience of the firm with the global resources of RE/MAX, as well as the sales tools, market insights, education and training available to our teams can only enhance the professional service our clients enjoy,” Cormac Sheehy, Director of the new RE/MAX office, stated.

Located in the Stonecourt complex in Roscommon, Earley’s business specialises in sales, lettings and valuation of all property types, from residential to public houses, hotels, farms and development lands.

The new partnership will see the business rebranded as RE/MAX Team Earley, and additional new staffing and marketing resources will be introduced to support business development. John Earley will remain as a consultant to the business.

Heading up the Roscommon business are Cormac Sheehy and Cathal Meares. Cormac is an existing RE/MAX office owner in Athlone, Galway and Limerick and has partnered with Cathal in the new Roscommon office - given Cathal’s strong residential and agri sales background, they together will support the expansion of real estate services in the local property market.

John Earley, FIPAV, was a Director, founder member and former Chairman of the Property Partners national network. He is a Fellow and former President of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV ).

Welcoming the new powerhouse partnership in the midlands, Paul Gartlan, FIPAV, Regional Owner of RE/MAX Ireland, said the industry expertise of John Earley and his team is a tremendous boost to the RE/MAX network in Ireland.

“John Earley is a quintessential property authority and a leader in our industry. His knowledge of the industry built over 40 years has created what has become a model real estate business, and one which we are delighted to have as part of our trusted group”, the RE/MAX Ireland business principal said.

RE/MAX estate agents operate across every region of Ireland. They provide residential property services, including no-obligation property appraisals and advice for those thinking of selling, as well as commercial property and auctioneering services.

The group is actively recruiting new and existing real estate businesses to join the brand, as it invests further in shared technology and business development supports that, essentially allow local agents to focus on customers’ needs first.

RE/MAX is found in more than 110 countries around the world, with 140,000 agents working in 8,000 RE/MAX real estate agencies, marking an international presence greater than any other.
