Athlone Boat Club will host their annual Golf Classic at Athlone Golf Club on Bank Holiday Monday, August 2.
Athlone Boat Club have partnered with Athlone Golf Club to host this fundraising event since the 1980s with support received for this year’s classic going towards completion of the final stage of the new clubhouse development on the banks of the River Shannon.
“This event is vital for the fundraising for Athlone Boat Club, it proves to be a great day every year and we are lucky to have such amazing support from all at the Athlone Golf Club, we thank them on behalf of the committee and members of the club for this continued support,” Athlone Boat Club member, Benny Dunne, remarked.
Tee time for the golf classic starts at 7.30am. Members €8/Visitors €25. Booking is available on the Athlone Golf Club website or by ringing 0906492073.
