Dun na Si Amenity Park remains open to local public

A prime amenity, Dún na Sí Heritage Park in Moate, remains open to the public under the current Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions.

The amenity facility remains open with protective measures in place with all those intending to utilise the Heritage Park for recreation purposes encouraged to remain vigilant and responsible to ensure the safety of all users.

The planted parkland and wetland reserve will continue to provide a peaceful and picturesque space for public exercise, but due to the restrictions, the park’s public toilets will remain closed during this period.

New Annual Dún na Sí car park passes are now available to purchase at the tickets section of the Dún na Sí website. The annual car park pass costs just €30, and provides free parking at the facility throughout the year (January 1 – December 31 2021 ).

Park users who previously held a 2020 Dún na Sí car park pass can now also renew their card for another year. Renewals of an existing card for 2021 will not require a new physical pass card as holders can continue to use their current pass once it has been renewed online and confirmed via communication by Dún na Sí staff.

To purchase or renew a car park pass for 2021, visit: https://dunnasi.ie/tickets/.

Please remember to use Dún na Sí Amenity Park in a safe and responsible manner by maintaining a social distance of two metres from others, continuing the use of hand sanitisers, particularly when using the playground and exercise equipment and avoiding arrangements to meet up with others outside of your household.

Dún na Sí are grateful to all park users for their co-operation with these protective measures, which will help to keep people safe and secure during their leisure time in the Park and encourage intending visitors to adhere to the Government’s advised 5k travel restrictions.
