Recently acquired by the Press Up Entertainment Group, Glasson Country House Hotel and Golf Club now begin a new chapter as Glasson Lakehouse with progressive plans afoot for 2020.
Speaking this week, a spokesperson for Press Up Entertainment Group acknowledged that the group were very much excited to become part of the community in Glasson and the Midlands region.
“The management team at Press Up are very excited to become part of the community and begin a new chapter as Glasson Lakehouse, with exciting plans in the pipeline for 2020 and beyond. The name change to Glasson Lakehouse marks a new chapter for the hotel under the new ownership and compliments the hotel’s beautiful surroundings in Ireland’s hidden heartlands and on the tranquil shores of Lough Ree,” the spokesperson commented.
With golf club membership for 2020 now available, local fairways enthusiasts are being encouraged to avail of a testing course located on the tranquil shores of Lough Ree.
The course at Glasson Golf Club, designed by Christy O’Connor Junior, is sure to challenge and excite all levels of golfers and is home to the state-of-the-art golf academy. The ‘Get into Golf’ package is a beginner’s introductory membership and includes access to the golf academy, helpful tips from a team of PGA Golf Instructors and the opportunity to play in weekly competitions. Junior golf memberships are also available which include weekly classes for improvers and beginners alike.
