‘Aladdin’ auditions as Ballinasloe announce pantomime details

Auditions for this year’s Ballinasloe pantomime ‘Aladdin’ take place place in the Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, September 15 from 12-3pm. There’s no need to have anything prepared in advance just turn up on the day and be ready to sing and dance. People of all ages (6+ ) and all levels of stage experience are welcome to audition to take part in the show.

The search is on to find a hero with an enchanted lamp, a beautiful princess looking for adventure, a magical blue genie with a trick or two up his sleeve and an evil sorcerer hellbent on exploiting the power of the lamp for himself. They are also looking to fill a number of other principal parts along with a whole host of chorus parts. So, if you are aged over 6, enjoy acting, singing, dancing and having fun, all while taking part in a magical show then this is the production for you.

The 2018 production will mark Ballinasloe Panto’s 10th consecutive Christmas pantomime and in honour of this they have decided to return to the show that started it all way back in 2009.

‘Aladdin’ is set to run from the December 10-16 inclusive in the Town Hall Theatre.
