Midlands Gateway Chamber to host second annual Ambassadors Ball

On May 8 the Midlands Gateway Chamber, in association with Athlone Chamber, will host its second annual Ambassadors Ball in the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone.

The major entertainment and networking event promotes and recognises the work of the Midlands’ finest ambassadors, both official and unofficial, working in partnership with the public and private sector.

The ball will be a black tie event and will be attended by leaders in the public and private sector who are recognised believers in, and providers for, the Midlands.

The event is an excellent vehicle for business networking in friendly surroundings, whilst supporting the work of the Midlands Gateway Chamber. Following dinner and formalities of the evening, live entertainment and dancing will continue until the early hours.

Honoured guests will include prominent members of local and national Government, together with senior representatives from key state agencies including Enterprise Ireland, IDA, Fáilte Ireland, and the Chambers of Commerce in the Midlands.

There will be ample comic relief on the evening in what promises to be a unique opportunity to mix business and pleasure with the movers and shakers of the region.

This is the second annual Ambassadors Ball. The first event took place in Mullingar in 2008 with over 730 business leaders from the Midlands and abroad attending the event. Michael O’Leary was given the coveted Ambassadors Award in recognition of his efforts and achievements as a Midlander.

Tickets are priced at €100 or a table of 10 for €900 and are available by calling Karen Cunningham on (044 ) 9344044 or Siobhán Bigley on (090 ) 64 98838.
