Following hundreds of entries, Homeland Plus, Westport, has been selected as one of the top 30 finalists in the Retail Excellence Ireland Store of the Year Awards for 2016/17. The award recognises and celebrates the outstanding performance and vision of stores, places, people, websites, and suppliers throughout the Irish retail industry. Last year, Retail Excellence Ireland awarded Homeland Swinford the prestigious title of Best DIY and Agri Store for 2015/16 for its outstanding quality of service and customer experience. This was a major accolade for Mayo and for Homeland.

This year, Homeland Plus Westport is delighted to have succeeded in being selected by Retail Excellence Ireland and is a credit to the Irish retail industry. The entries were at an all time high with Homeland Westport scoring almost top marks in all categories and getting an overall score of more than 90 per cent in their mystery shopping visits. The large store’s location and ample free parking offers customers a no fuss, no stress shopping experience seven days a week. Customers can peruse the latest products whilst enjoying the delights of the popular Enrica’s Coffee & Cupcake Café and of course receiving the very best in customer care. See www.homeland.ie for a store close to you.

The final Retail Excellence Ireland awards ceremony for 2016/17 will be held in the Radisson Blu, Galway on November 5 – here’s hoping that another Homeland store can fly the flag for Mayo again this year.
