West End act In the Meantime presents an evening of first class musical drama from the London based company on Thursday October 8 at 9pm. Focus Theatre is also due to perform a piece called I am of Ireland, adapted from the writings of WB Yeats, at 8pm in Scoil Phadraic.

Contemporary musician, Adrian Crowley’s songs are immersed in folk tradition and he is due to play with a four-piece band on Saturday October 10 in the Holy Trinity Church.

Daithí ó Drónaí from Co Clare combines traditional fiddle playing craft with a contemporary inventiveness akin to rock and will play at the festival.

Sixties music is due to be revived by original band Dr Strangely Strange. A lively and fun-loving folk-tinged evening is expected at the Wyatt Hotel on Friday October 9 for this event.
