The Castlebar Tidy Towns Committee are asking the public to please only dispose of bottles at the bottle banks in the town as there have been some complaints about the dumping of other material at these facilities.
The committee would also like to thank everyone who has been busy tending to gardens, hedges and footpaths over the past weeks as well as the groups who have been involved in the adopt an area clean-ups each Monday. To get involved please contact Noel Byrne on 087 264 3104.
