THE DIRTY Circus is well known as a great night of burlesque and cabaret, with the star attraction being the stunningly sexy divas of all body types, but what about a night featuring just the men, performing what is known as 'Boylesque'?
Male burlesque performers have graced the stage of The Dirty Circus before, but only one or two per show, and only every now and again. The next Dirty Circus on Saturday August 26 at 9pm in the Róisín Dubh will change that.
Entitled Let’s Hear It For The Boys, this will be a night of homoerotic high camp and cabaret with the brilliant Fabio Ego Deflato; Smelly May, who will have audiences wriggling in thier seats; the phenomenon that is singer-songwriter Steven Sharpe (Galway Advertiser Solo Artist of the Year 2014 ); Fosse Stylet; and Marcin Miller, who will add some pole action into the mix.
Also expect to see Kitty Satine and Eve Shadows, while DJ Cantina Bop will play electro swing. The MC will be Sideshow Ramone, billed as 'Britain's most dangerous man'. There will be prizes for the best dressed audience members.
Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
