The Original Rudeboys to play Róisín Dubh

THE ORIGINAL Rudeboys are heading west to bring their indie acoustic hip-hop to the Róisín Dubh this Sunday at 9pm.

The band - Sean ‘Neddy’ Arkins (vocals ), Robert Burch (guitar/vocals ), Sean ‘Walshy’ Walsh (ukulele ) - have enjoyed a whirlwind three years since first coming to attention in 2011 after posting an impromptu jam session on YouTube. Since then they have won Song of the Year at the Meteor Awards, seen their debut album reach No 3 in the charts, while second album, All We Are, released this year, hit No 2. Their next single, ‘Never Alone’ is out on November 14.

All profits from the single will be equally shared between Walk In My Shoes, a national fundraising and mental health awareness campaign, and Console, which provides suicide prevention and bereavement services.

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
