Connemara Coast appoints new sales and marketing manager
Joanne Clancy has been appointed sales and marketing manager for the Connemara Coast Hotel.
Ms Clancy joins the hotel having previously worked as sales and marketing manager for eight years in the Falls Hotel and Spa, Ennistymon, Co. Clare. She has a deep understanding of the hotel industry with experience in the leisure, spa, group, corporate and wedding areas of the business.
Her experience also includes marketing and PR having previously held positions of Conference Manager in Conference Connections, Co. Clare, Event Manager in Verve Marketing, Dublin and starting out her career as account executive in Bill O’Herlihy Communications, Dublin.
“I’m delighted to be joining the team at the Connemara Coast Hotel. The hotel is situated in a wonderfully picturesque setting, only 10 minutes from Galway City,” she said. “ It has a strong customer focus with superb banqueting and meeting facilities and it possesses that unique atmosphere which only comes from family owned properties. I very much look forward to developing the wedding, corporate and leisure business.”
