VERDI’S AIDA and the Bolshoi’s production of The Nutcracker will be screened live from The Met in New York to The Eye Cinema, Wellpark, this month.
Aida will be broadcast this Saturday at 6pm. Set in ancient Egyptian, it stars Liudmyla Monastyrska as the enslaved Ethiopian princess; Roberto Alagna as Radamès; and Olga Borodina as Amneris.
On Sunday at 3pm The Bolshoi will perform The Nutcracker, featuring the wonderful music of Tchaikovsky.
