CONNEMARA TRAD/folk singers The Brennan Sisters will perform three concerts this weekend - in Tourmakeady, Moycullen, and Galway city.
The sisters - Anne and Monica - play Maire Lukes, Tourmakeady, Mayo at 9pm tomorrow; The Forge, Moycullen on Saturday at 8.30pm; and Monroe’s Backstage Bar, Galway, this Sunday at 8.30pm. They are renowned for their harmony singing.
The Brennans have worked with Sharon Shannon, Paul Brady, Arty McGlynn, and Damien Dempsey and are among the artists featured on the cover of Elton John’s ‘Tiny Dancer’ for Lily Mae.
For the shows, Anne and Monica will be joined by Stephen Doherty and Patrick and David Doocey. Tickets are €8 and available at the door of each venue.
