Galway Arts Festival launches new group sales initiative

The Galway Arts Festival has introduced a new Group Sales initiative of special ticket options, offers, and hospitality packages aimed at audiences of all ages and interests.

All groups can avail of this offer including work colleagues, friends, family, sports and social clubs, customer nights out, and special occasions. A special group discount of 10 per cent is available to groups of 10 plus to most performances.

The idea has been developed by the arts festival’s group sales officer Elaine Divilly to assist groups/clubs or any individual who wants to form a group just for the festival and avail of these offers.

A tailored hospitality package is available and will include pre-festival two-course dinner with wine followed by a festival performance of your choice.

A special offer is running until June 18 to avail of VIP tickets with a 15 per cent discount. Premium and VIP tickets are available for selected festival events. Packages will include entry to the event, refreshments; access to a VIP reserved area, merchandise, and other treats.

Cultural Packages are available for visitors to the festival to guarantee “a unique Galway experience at festival performances”. Events will include the Hofesh Shechter Dance Company performance; theatre from the New York Theatre Workshop and The Corn Exchange; classical music from the Endellion String Quartet; and theatre and opera director Sir Peter Hall in conversation with Michael Billington; concerts from The Divine Comedy and the Alan Kelly Quartet with Eddie Reader; and the Trad Lunchtimes at the Róisín Dubh.

The festival is also offering an incentive to students called GAF Student which will provide updates, special offers on tickets and merchandise, and the latest festival news from GAF TV.

To avail of these offers visit the new groups pages on the festival website www.galwayartsfestival.com or contact Elaine Divilly at [email protected] or on 091 - 509700.
