Music for Galway’s 42nd International Concert Season concludes next week with a peformance by clarinet and vocalist duo Eonta at the University of Galway, before its cello festival Cellisimo begins in May.

Eonta is Clarinettist Carol McGonnell from Dublin and singer Cansu Tanrikulu from Ankara who play the university’s O’Donoghue Theatre next Tuesday, April 9 at 7.30pm.

Eonta’s diverse programme includes works by Brooklyn-based bassist and composer Nick Dunston; one of Germany's most controversial composers, Karlheinz Stockhausen; and a piece by the duo itself. Carefully staged to include a light projection installation, these fresh sounds and visuals promise to stimulate.
