The UK's heaviest System of a Down tribute band will bring their thunderous alt-metal sounds to life at Monroe’s Live on Sunday, April 7 at 8pm.

Bursting with the iconic songs from SOAD's extensive back catalogue, System of a Down UK is a passionate homage to their unique and powerful music. Having finely tuned their craft in various well-known Yorkshire bands, these talented musicians unleash the raw energy and intensity that define SOAD’s signature style.

Together they recreate the critically acclaimed ‘Toxicity,’ the frenetic energy of ‘Chop Suey!’ and the politically charged anthems from ‘Mesmerize’ and ‘Hypnotize.’

Known for their thought-provoking lyrics that touch on social and political issues, the original American-Armenian heavy metal group earned numerous awards during their illustrious career and maintain their influential status in the rock and metal scenes. The band gained commercial success through the release of five studio albums, with three of them debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. Selling over 12 million records worldwide, securing four Grammy nominations and one award for their song ‘B.Y.O.B.’ this enduring music legacy will be celebrated at Monroe’s Live.

System of a Down UK will deliver a performance that resonates with both die-hard fans and newcomers alike, with meticulous attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for the source material. This full headline show takes place in the intimate surrounds of the Backstage venue.

These fellow Yorkshire rockers are gaining momentum on the heavy rock circuit, and there’s no sign of them slowing down.
