A trio of Irish comics for the KARLnival

Brian Gallagher, Richie Sheehy, and Cathal Shanagher to play the Róisín Dubh

BRIAN GALLAGHER, Richie Sheehy, and Cathal Shanagher will take to the stage of the Róisín Dubh for the next instalment of the Comedy KARLnival on Tuesday October 1 at 8pm.

Brian Gallagher has been taking the Irish circuit by storm in recent years with his clever, surreal, and irreverent stand-up. He was runner-up in Show Me The Funny 2017 and is a contributor to the successful YouTube channel Facts. He has played the Vodafone Comedy Carnival, Forbidden Fruit, and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Richy Sheehy shot to fame last year as Cork’s Biggest Liverpool Fan and since then has performed live on Soccer AM, BBC Radio 1, and The Ray D’Arcy Show, as well as playing to thousands at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium and selling out a headline slot at the O2 Academy in Oxford.

Roscommon's Cathal Shanagher's dark one-liners and stories has led him to be a two time finalist in the Show Me The Funny competition and also a finalist in Dublin’s Next Top Comic competition. He has played The Comedy Crunch, The Comedy Shed, the Museum of Comedy in London, and the 2019 Vodafone Comedy Carnival.

The MC is Karl Spain. Tickets are €6 in advance from Róisín Dubh; www.roisindubh.net; or OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €8 at the door.
