There will be a number of battles for votes over the coming weeks in the lead up to the 2022 Mayo GAA Convention, which will take place in the McWilliam Park Hotel in Claremorris on December 11, following the close of nominations last Sunday.
At the very top of the ticket there will be no change, with current chairperson Seamus Tuohy unopposed after he completed his first year in the role, Con Moynihan will also be returned unopposed as the vice-chairperson.

It was a fitting climax to the Mayo GAA club season that two of our most decorated players ended up with big prizes as Keith Higgins and his Ballyhaunis team mates captured the Mayo intermediate title, while in the senior final Lee Keegan and Westport finally got their hands on the coveted Moclair Cup for the first time in the club's history.
