Mall in Castlebar to be lit next Christmas

Fri, Jan 13, 2012

Town manager Seamus Granahan explained that there would be a major one off cost incurred this year so that The Mall would be lit next year as would other streets in the town off Main Street. The extra money would go towards new lights to cover the extra streets and The Mall and would pay for the permanent installation of the electrical work for the lighting of the trees in The Mall, which would be left in place throughout the year.
