Sheridan welcomes shopfront scheme

A new Shopfront Grant Scheme is now available to businesses across the Castlebar Municipal district. This scheme has been launched further to a proposal by Councillor Donna Sheridan at the March meeting of the Castlebar Municipal District, who welcomed the launch, saying: "I am delighted that the scheme is now in operation, businesses can apply for grant funding of up to 50% of approved works to a maximum of €1,000. With many shops reopening last week, it is vital we do everything we can to support local businesses. €5 million funding for Lough Carra rejuvenation project
