Funding boost for CF unit at Mayo General

The construction of a new dedicated day unit for cystic fibrosis sufferers in the county received a boost this week. The project has been allocated €50,000 in National Lottery Funding.

The total cost of the project is €1.3 million. Cystic Fibrosis Ireland and CF West have already fundraised €900,000 for the unit.
