Due to the vast and rich historical and archaeological heritage of the Achill area an Achill Historical and Archaeological Society has been set up.
People who are willing to be part of this community project are invited to show their interest by e-mailing their details and suggestions to [email protected]. A special inaugural meeting of the AHAS, with details of membership and selection of a committee, will be held in March.
