Ballinrobe Musical Society has been nominated for three AIMS awards for their recent production of The Addams Family. The AIMS awards are handed out by the The Association of Irish Musical Societies to the best amateur musical society productions around the country.
Ballinrobe Musical Society picked up nominations for Best Actor, Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Technical Work. Michael Cone was nominated as Best Actor for his role as Gomez Addams, Niall Conway was nominated as Best Actor in a Supporting Role as Uncle Fester, and the society picked up the Best Technical Award for its lighting, sound, and set production.
