Stagecoach Mayo, the lively and vibrant theatre arts school for children and teens, is offering a two week trial for new students, starting this Saturday (April 18 ) at the Sacred Heart School, Westport.
The theatre school is running its new term over 11 Saturdays, starting tomorrow (April 18 ) and continuing until June 27.
The theatre school gives children and young teens the chance to develop their thespian talents, gain self-confidence, meet new friends, learn new skills and most importantly, have fun in a creative and nurturing environment.
Stagecoach Mayo also runs a hugely popular programme of summer camps with places for this year’s camps already filling up fast.
The camps aim to introduce children to fun theatre learning while giving them a unique summer experience, confidence and skills that will last a lifetime.
Established in 1988, the successful Stagecoach theatre arts schools offers high quality training in small classes for children in the three main disciplines of the performing arts - speech and drama (acting ), singing and dancing.

Classes are divided into Early Stages, for four- to six-year-olds; and Main Stages for seven- to 16-year-olds.
The new term for four- to six-year-olds, is almost full but there is still some limited availability for the Main Stages students (seven- to 16-year-olds ) in the 10am to 1pm school.
The highly popular summer camps, from July 20 to 24, are already 40 per cent pre-booked for four- to 16-year-olds.
This year, students of the summer camp will present Robin and The Sherwood Hoodies.
Stagecoach has also just announced that its Galway centre has an advanced musical theatre course for teenagers this year, presenting Fame Jr, from August 4 to 8.
Set during the early 1980s in New York’s famous High School For The Performing Arts, this global classic will give young adults the chance to bring their own show to life over five intensive days with a production at 6pm on the final day of the course.
For most courses, a €50 deposit guarantees a place.
