After just two weeks in business, JJ Griffiths, new Ford dealer, on the Newport Road in Castlebar, has already sold a number of new cars.
“Our servicing has also really taken off because as a main dealer we have a good offer going of €99 for a service, which we will do on any car, not just necessarily a Ford”, reported Pat Leonard, sales manager.
Situated at the landmark former Chadwicks site on the new road, the location is proving very good according to Pat, as it is very convenient for people to walk into town and there is ample parking.
Interestingly, their car hire department, which they introduced as an extra, is also going very well. “We’re very surprised because we hadn’t expected that demand, but people are looking for cars on a temporary basis for various reasons, so we’re happy to be of service.”
The new JJ Griffiths Ford dealer in Castlebar additionally deserves credit for having created 15 new and very welcome jobs in the town.
