Workshop to promote a better night’s sleep

Undoubtedly there is a noticeable increase in stress, anxiety, fear and worry in Irish society. Psychologist and clinical hypnotherapist Amanda Walsh employs the most effective and evidenced based therapeutic interventions available today in the field of psychology and psychotherapy, working with these issues at Northwest Therapy and Hypnosis.

Frequently stresses and strains of everyday life lead to sleep disturbances. With a passion for making a difference, addressing this widespread concern, Ms Walsh has designed a workshop to aid people in overcoming sleep difficulties.

Good quality sleep has the power to truly change our experience of life. It is well documented by medical professionals and researchers that poor quality sleep can have a variety of implications on health and wellbeing.

Amanda Walsh will provide an insight into evidenced based techniques, which are developed, to successfully deal with the internal dialogue (internal chatter, self-talk or self-hypnosis ) which is continually attributed to restlessness at night time. The workshop, rich with useful information, will provide you with empowering guidance and easy to follow steps which will help you to dissolve the various barriers, which regularly hinder restful sleep.

The workshop takes place on October 22 from 11am to 3.30pm, at the IPI Centre, Breaffy Road, Castlebar. Booking is essential, as places are limited. Book before Tuesday October 4 to obtain a 20 per cent discount. Contact Amanda Walsh on 083 414 7013 or email [email protected]

Amanda Walsh is also available for private consultations. Consultations are by appointment only, with confidentiality assured.
