Guitar Made Easy - it’s a family affair

If you start practising next week, you could be a guitar player by Christmas. That is the deal on offer with Guitar Made Easy, which begins its 10 week run in venues in Oranmore, Galway, Tuam, and Castlebar next week.

Better still, if you bring along two family members, you get to avail of the three-for-the-price-of-two offer, so one of you gets to go free.

Tutor on the Guitar Made Easy course, Kevin McNicholas, says: “These classes are designed to be fast, fun, and easy. The set-up is very informal, there are no exams and you don’t need to read music. Whatever type of music you like, be it rock, folk, pop, blues, country, trad or metal, these classes will teach you in 10 weeks what could take you a year or more to learn if you set out to teach yourself.”

Guitar Made Easy is for complete beginners with no prior musical experience. The course is designed for learners from 10 years of age and upwards.

Classes start on Monday September 26 in Oranmore, Tuesday 27 in Galway, Wednesday 28 in Tuam, and Thursday 29 in Castlebar. Class times are 7pm and 8.15pm. Improvers classes in each of the venues is at 9.30pm. The fee for the 10 weeks is €180.
