As part of Mayo County Libraries’ celebration of the Bealtaine festival, Sr Hillary Lyons will appear in Castlebar Library on May 17 at 1pm.
Sr Hilary Lyons from Louisburgh, worked as a nun and a doctor for over 40 years in Sierra Leone, West Africa. She is a missionary sister and author.
Sr Hillary will talk about her life as a missionary and her memories of her childhood in Mayo. All are welcome at this free event.
