UK domestic carrier launches new route from Knock airport

Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline, announced a new expansion from Ireland West Airport Knock this week by introducing a three-times-a-week service to Edinburgh in Scotland.

The new route will commence on April 19, 2011. Flybe is Europe's largest regional airline and also the UK's number one domestic carrier. The addition of the Flybe brand to the airport is a major coup and vote of confidence in both the airport and the regions in which the airport serves. The new route is a significant boost to flight access from the west of Ireland with this connection to a key city in Scotland.

Flybe tickets to and from Edinburgh are on sale from €36 one way including taxes and charges on www.flybe.com
