The public art that graces Mayo’s towns, parks, and roadsides features prominently in a groundbreaking new book on public art in Ireland.

Well-known Mayo pieces such as The Helicopter in Ballina, Coffin Ship at Murrisk, and Shimmer on the Station Road Roundabout in Castlebar are captured in the book, alongside sculptures from Claremorris, Crossmolina, Kiltimagh, and Ballinrobe. In all 53 pieces of art from Mayo are reproduced in full colour.
