The Avonmore Big Picnic for Barrettsown aims to encourage everyone in Mayo, whether it is individuals, families, schools, or companies, to have a picnic this summer and raise much needed funds for Barrettstown.
Last year there were picnics held all over Mayo and the money raised will help send more families to Barrettstown and also provide much needed equipment and resources to help run the family camps,which take place every year.
