Paws for Thought

In association with Mayo SPCA

Mayo SPCA are seeking caring homes for rescued animals in their care. Details/photos of other animals needing homes can be seen on their web site William is a male beagle mix approximately 18 months old and rescued from the Claremorris area. Unfortunately he was hit by a car which dislocated his hip. After veterinary treatment he is doing well and will make a full recovery. Currently he is on a lead and walks only. He is such a good natured dog, obedient, affectionate, and placid, excellent with other dogs, and would make a great family pet.

Sid is a young male brindle boxer/terrier cross, approximately nine months old. A healthy young fella, he has been neutered, had his first vaccination and been worm/flea treated. Sid is the most adorable young dog, has a wonderful temperament, loves people, children, other dogs, and is a pleasure to have around. He needs a home where he will be treated as part of the family.

Ice and Snow are two pure white male cats, less than one year old, both are neutered, flea/worm treated and fully vaccinated. Healthy, litter trained, and needing a home with someone who has a little time to give them more confidence with humans, they are lovely and just need a chance to prove it. They would not mind sleeping in a warm, dry shed with some access to indoors during the day.

If you can offer a home to any of Mayo SPCA’s rescued animals then please call them on 094 963 1888 or 086 803 2592, lines are very busy and open from 10am to 5pm seven days a week. Please leave a message if your call is unanswered and it will be returned as soon as possible. Should you need to neuter/spay your cat or dog then please call requesting a reduced price voucher.
