Oxfam Castlebar seeks volunteers

Oxfam in Castlebar is looking for enthusiastic people of all ages to join its team of dedicated shop volunteers. Caroline Reid, Communications Manager with Oxfam Ireland said: “Sadly, not all of our volunteers are in a position to return to the shop just yet. This, coupled with the incredibly generous volume of donations and support from our customers, means our Castlebar shop is in need of more people power. People can give as little or as much time as they like - as little as four hours a week can make a world of difference to our work worldwide. I would encourage anyone interested in lending some time at our Castlebar shop to make an application through our online portal and we provide full training. Beyond day-to-day retail duties there are a variety of activities that people can help with, from visual merchandising (for anyone with a creative flare for designing window displays ) to social media (crafting engaging posts for digital channels ). Apply to volunteer with your local Oxfam shop here: https://www.oxfamireland.org/getinvolved/volunteer/apply.
