The latest GeoView Residential Buildings report for quarter four of 2020 for Mayo has found that there were 915 residential property transactions in Mayo in the twelve months to November 2020, 9.9 per cent of which were new dwellings.
The average residential property price in Mayo was €148,525, lower than the national average of €294,184 while 444 residential address points in Mayo were added to the GeoDirectory database in 2020. There were 341 buildings under construction in Mayo in December 2020. The residential vacancy rate in Mayo was 12.2 per cent in December 2020, higher than the national average of 4.6 per cent.
