Mayo Sports Grant

The Board of the Mayo Sports Partnership invites applications from sports clubs/organisations which have a central focus of increasing participation with specific groups in sporting activities in Mayo.

Completed application forms should be returned to the Mayo Sports Partnership office no later than Friday May 1 at 4pm. Application forms can be downloaded from the Mayo Sports Partnership website on www.mayosports.ie or from Cosgallen CDP on 094 925 5070.

Jobs Club

Cosgallen CDP in conjunction with North East LEADER Partnership Co Teo will hold a jobs club from Tuesday May 5 until Friday May 22.

The course will be held every morning from 10am to 1pm in The Cosgallen Office in Charlestown and a small out of pocket expenses will be paid.

Barnacouge/Killaturley walking group

A walk organised by the Barnacogue/Killaturley walking group will take place on Tuesday April 21 at 7.30pm. The walkers will meet at the Killaturley Shrine which is the second shrine on the Cullane Road coming from Swinford.

Soogroo Children’s Arts Festival Launch

The launch of the Soogroo Children’s Arts Festival will be held in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford, on Sunday April 19 at 5pm.

Computer needed

A second hand computer is required for a needy person in the Swinford/Charlestown area. If you have a computer that you do not need contact Cosgallen CDP on 094 925 5070.

Ballyhaunis note

On behalf of Western Alzheimer's, Maureen Higgins and Anne Flanagan would like to thank everyone who contributed to their tea morning in the Clare Court Communal House recently with €316 raised.
