Sixty-seven-year-old Joe Brennan from Tulrahan outside Claremorris appeared on Winning Streak last Saturday night where he walked away with €32,000. Joe is single and lives with his brother John and John’s wife Mary Teresa on the family farm where he was born and reared.

Joe worked on the farm all his life but is now retired. He is the youngest of three, he has two brothers, John, and Paddy who lives in England. The Claremorris man said he enjoys walking his dog Sadie and playing cards in the community centre in nearby Brickens, and he would love to go on a trip to the US with his winnings and bring some of his nieces and nephews. Supporting Joe in the audience of Winning Streak last weekend were his brother John and Mary Teresa, five of his six nieces and nephews, and the local priest, Fr McGuinness.
