Pat Shortt bringing his new show to Belmullet

Funny man Pat Shortt is returning to Mayo with his latest nationwide tour, Selfie.

Mr Shortt brings Selfie to the Belmullet Arts Centre, Áras Inis Gluaire, on April 4.

The show features the singing undertaker Mossey Burke, regaling the audience with tales of his favourite funeral and features a host of hilarious new characters.

A comedian, actor, writer and entertainer, Shortt needs little introduction.

He made his name on the Irish comedy scene as the co-creator, alongside Jon Kenny, of the hugely successful duo, D’Unbelievables.

As a solo artist, Shortt’s first show, Pat Shortt Live, sold out more than 250 dates around Ireland.

Since then, he has enjoyed continued success with live tours, television shows, and a critically acclaimed performance as Josie in the 2007 film, Garage.

Tickets, costing €28, are on sale now. Booking is essential. Contact Áras Inis Gluaire on (097 ) 81079 or visit www.arasinisgluaire.ie
