Westport based songwriter Paul K has just released his debut single called ‘Bright Side’.
The musician and frontman for The Paul K Band has also released a music video for the track, which is available on iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify.
The single launch kicks off an exciting year ahead for the troubadour, with an EP due out from the band, a total of 10 solo tracks being released by Paul himself, and a six-track EP featuring the full band.
The band have recently supported Imelda May as part of her Irish tour and are releasing a two-part documentary, which charts the journey of the band over a six-month period.
“I wanted to capture the process of how each song on the EP develops from writing straight through to release, which is something you don't normally see,” said Paul.
“‘Bright Side’ is especially personal, as I wrote it to show that everybody has their bright side, no matter how bad things may seem. It is all about focusing on the good things.”
The band features Raphael Dziubinski on drums and Marcin Piasecki on bass with Paul K taking on the piano and vocals.
