A 30-year-old woman has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of a man in Galway city last year.
Maura Thornton, with a former rental address at Upper Salthill, Galway, is charged with the murder of Mayo native Kevin Joyce (59 ) at an apartment on July 31 2010.
At Galway District Court this week a book of evidence was served on the defendant. Judge Mary Fahy sent Thornton forward for trial.
