Mayo Athletic Club launches winter Fit4Life programme

Mayo Athletic Club has just announced details of its winter Fit4Life programme. Fit4Life caters for people over 18 with no upper age limit, and provides them with an opportunity to improve their fitness at a low cost. Fit4Life operates in four towns; Ballyhaunis, Ballinrobe, Castlebar, and Claremorris. It is suitable for people of any fitness level. All centres have trained team leaders in attendance catering for people who wish to walk, jog, or run.

Fit4Life was first established in 2009 and its huge success has led to hundreds of members throughout Mayo. There is no pressure to attend every week, and there is a great social element to the sessions. Everyone who attends a Fit4Life session in the next four weeks will be entered into a free prize draw, with the top prize being an iPhone, thanks to the club sponsor C&C Cellular. After a short break for Christmas, Fit4Life will resume in the New Year.

Fit4Life takes place on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings in Ballyhaunis, Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings in Ballinrobe, Monday evenings in Castlebar, and Thursday evenings in Claremorris.
