Some of the rescued animals needing homes are shown here, but others can be seen on Mayo SPCA's website www.mayospca.com Mouse is a male collie, seven months old, he is healthy, neutered, fully vaccinated, worm treated and a real treasure. Such a gentle, loving nature, very calm, placid, good with other dogs, responsive and so affectionate. He would be an ideal family pet or companion dog and needs a home where he is allowed indoors with access to outside. He is house trained and very good on a lead.
Stella is a female dog who was abandoned in pup. We have now found homes for the pups and Stella needs a home to call her own. She is a beautiful natured dog, very gentle, lovely temperament, excellent with children, does not appear to expect much from anyone, probably because she has had a tough time, but that makes her so easy to have around as she's so undemanding. Quiet and needing affection, Stella would also make a great family or companion pet. Small in size, we believe her to be a cross bred bassett hound.
This beautiful, male, long haired cat urgently needs a home. He is neutered, worm treated and a total pet. His owner was hospitalised and he really does not belong in a cattery. He is litter trained, so affectionate, very calm. He needs a home with someone who will have the time to brush his beautiful coat and keep it in good order, and will allow him to live indoors with access to outside.
Mo and Jo are just two of the many kittens in care right now. These two were saved from being drowned and just adorable, both are healthy, worm treated, litter trained, with sweet, affectionate playful natures.
