A 26-year-old man from Boffenaun was disqualified from driving for two years at Castlebar District Court on Wednesday.
Patrick Maloney, Massbrook Upper, Bofeenaun, Ballina, was stopped by gardaí on September 7 2009, after he was observed to travel through the Moneen Roundabout at speed. A breath sample was later provided which showed 62mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.
Judge Mary Devins convicted and fined him €350 and disqualified him from driving for two years.
