A morning pint served in Crossmolina pub

A licensee of a pub in Crossmolina, who allowed persons on the premises before opening hours, was convicted and fined at Ballina District Court.

At 10.07am on August 27 2009, gardaí inspected the premises of The Thatch, Chapel Street, Crossmolina, where three men were on the premises and half pints of Guinness were consumed.

Noel Moffatt, the licensee of the premises, who has no previous breaches of the licensing laws, was convicted and fined €400 by Judge Mary Devins.
